Hello there, i am the proud owner of 46 veiled chameleons (well, 44 are in the eggs!) and a Rh. Brevicaudatus and i was thinking of putting a veiled chameleon or perhaps get a panther and put it outside. I live in southern florida, so the weather is beautifull (When it isnt raining lol!). I am afraid that a preadator, such as a racoon, might get my sleeping chameleon at night. Any way to minimize danger? And i have another question.... If my female veiled lays a second clutch of eggs, do i throw it away? Or do i keep it as a fertilized one, because ive heard that females lay 2 or even 3 clutches of fertilized eggs after a mating. Thanx alot for answering!!!!!

in regards to your female laying a second clutch, don't throw them away. females can retain sperm and lay another clutch of fertile eggs.
