cage temps

Lorddreyfus Mar 06, 2004 03:06 PM

I have 3 female ball pythons that have been getting RI's recently due to temps being too low. I went out and purchased heat lights instead of the heat tape I was using and the temps are much higher. My question is the cool side is 75 degrees while right under the light its hitting 97. Will this be ok till I can get a temp regulator? Thanks, Travis.

Warm side: 90 (95 tops)
Cool side: 80-85

Temps can drop at night, but not needed. If they do don't let the cool side get below 75 and make sure there is still a gradient of 5-10 degrees between the two sides.

With the temps as they are now, where do they seem to stay?

Get a thermostat if needed
