honduran behavior

I have a tangerine dream honduran hatched 7-03. Lately he seems restless and is out and about alot. This is not his usual as he always hides. But not lately. Is this 'normal' for a honduran? I fed him thinking he was hungry..which he ate. He is on fuzzies now. About one a week. He about as long as a person's forearm. Maybe I should feed him 2 or 3 fuzzies.

Anyone have any experiences like this??

He is housed in a 20 gallon long with UTH on one side. Do honduran's really need the heat? I was reading about black milks that they don't need heating. He has been in this setup for months now so nothing has changed.

Thanks.

I've raised hondurans before and found them to be quite active. Also, hondurans are not like black milks. Hondurans should be kept warmer. Black milks are from a region of much higher elevation where the temps are lower.
