Our Gecko Pedro...help!!

Suntzu18 Mar 06, 2004 07:22 PM

I have a Leopard Gecko name Pedro. He does not speak any english. He is full grown and a great size. Seems pretty active but does not seem to be eating for the past few weeks. We are feeding him mealworms, usually 10 at a time so that we can count what he eats. Not much. Any advice?

Alright, first off, what was he eating before you got him? Maybe he's not used to eating mealworms. If he is used to eating mealworms, maybe you're not putting enough in. My leos won't eat mealworms unless there is at least twenty in their dish. If you are not putting them in a dish, you should, because mealworms burrow and little Pedro won't be able to find them if they are buried in the substrate. Hope this helps, if you have any other questions feel obligated to ask..Hehehe !!!
