I've been busy the last couple of days and so haven't been doing the usual lizard watching.Anyone remember ISIS my gravid female? Well this is her today. Soon as i took the pic she shot back into her hide and i didn't want to pull her out of there.Had a good look around (easy as the other two said goodnight an hour previously)but saw no evidence of egglaying. She does look thinner with loose skin on her back and sides but i'll catch a better look tomorrow. Does anyone have any advice please?

Well, if she is thinner looking, there must be some eggs SOMEWHERE?

Wish you luck on safely recovering them... let us know!

...she has done some eggs. The thing is, the eggs will rapidly dehydrate in the normal viv conditions required by collareds. If you are planning on attempting to hatch this clutch, they need to be moved to a higher humidity level (and once again I'll use the phrase Pretty Darn Soon!) LOL. If more than a few hours have passed, you first need to mark the "up" orientation of the eggs as they are laying in their present position. You can improvise an emergency incubating container to stabilize the moisture content NOW using some moistened sphagnum moss, pearlite, or vermiculite in a 'deli-cup' or something similar. Place the eggs with the "this way up" mark upright in shallow depressions in your media and try to keep them in the upper 70's to low 80's for now. You can usually tell an infertile egg by the flaccid, flabby feel to it.

Good luck!
