i got this 30 gal tank with the stand for only 20 bucks at a garage sale.... its amazig what you can find huh?
Not to ruffle your feathers, but that gecko is way too small to keep it on sand of any kind, let alone that tacky dyed calci-sand stuff.
i havent had a problem with the sand and i know alot of people who have used it with no problems and i don't think its tacky i think its pretty and brings out her colors thans for your concern tho!
Ok........its just a common knowledge thing about leos that unless the gecko is over 6 inches you should'nt keep it on ANY kind of loose substrate due to their penchance for going around and licking everything when young. You may do what you wish, but I have had a gecko almost die from using sand and it is not a risk worth taking for me.......and that sand IS tacky.
