Is it possible she hates her worms laying in calc dust?

newkid Mar 07, 2004 09:53 AM

Ive tried mealworms in phos free calc dust and tried em in leo dust. Shes not interested.. is it the dust, or does she want crickets back.

Theres a possibility she got worms, probably from the first batch of crickets. Exactly why I dont want to go back to them but shes not eating mealworms.

Any thoughts?

Next step is the Vet!

Well, if you honestly believe that she doesnt like her worms in dust, try em w/o dust and see if she eats em. And then slowly put dust in her dish little by little. If she still wont eat, I would try one or two crickets to see if thats the problem. If it is, you can go to Petsmart and get "CricketMaker"..It is a cricket flavoring. But, if all else fails, use waxworms to switch her over. (Ok, with that said...AAA..dont hurt me..its only a few waxies!! lol..jk) Good luck!!
