Good lord, for what? Tremper giants?

the lowest i would ever breed a female is 45 grams, they are just too small otherwise to handle the stress of breeding. males can be bred a bit smaller, but not much

Some leos never even reach that weight by age 3. It's difficult to imagine that they aren't ready to breed until they are 3 years old. I have a 41 gram female with a tail as big around as her head, and she's 2 years old.

I know the current trend is to breed for bigger geckos, but there are still geckos out there that are just naturally small...and I can't see that a 2 year old with a big fat tail isn't ready to breed.
