What do you breeders out there use to mark your babies with? fingernail polish? non toxic acrylic paint? and also, how do you mark them :meaning like by clutch? by father mother? by sex? thanks for all the input, just waiting for the guys to hatch!

depending on how many babies we have we use a color coded chart. Example, first color dot would be mother and then the next colors would represent set numbers. Or if you only have a few, you can just write numbers on them. You can use permanent markers or nail polish.

First color = mother

Red = Lacie
Gold = Buffy
Blue = Darla
Silver = Sunshine
(Yes, all my dragons have names and are not breeder female #1, #2, #3, etc)

Number / Color code

Green = 1
Gold = 2
Silver = 3
Red = 4
Blue = 5

Example

Dragon marked with dots Red-Gold-Blue
(Starting with first color dot at base of tail and working down the tail from there)

Dragon from Lacie's clutch and is #25

Hope that helps clear it up for you
