Tell us some more about how she is kept...how large is her cage, how large is the iguana....what temps she is kept at (basking area and cooler area) what you feed her, UVB lighting? etc....she may need a vet visit....let us know so we can better determine what should happen...Lyn

She is a 4ft female iguana. I dont know her age because I rescued her 5 years ago.She has full rome of my house but as most large iguanas she stays in one place most of the time. She does have all the proper lighting and heat. She has a great diet and behaves the same as she always does, very very lovable. I wish there was something I can tell you, but she is the same except every now and then she sticks her toung out and leaves it out for a while. Do you think it might be an age thing?

not sure, has she had a well check up lately? maybe she is missing teeth or something...does the inside of her mouth look normal...any growths possible? just a thought...Lyn
