I bought it to stimulate my BD's appetite because he barely eats and I want to know am I going to have to keep doing this like his whole growth period and life to maintain and gain weight?

It's a good maintenance regimine to dose them every month.
You won't HAVE to do it so your dragon will eat, your dragon should eat on it's own. But, he won't get sick with parasites if you keep it up.
