Just thought I would share a photo of my male knob. I missed the breeding window last year, let’s hope that doesn’t happen this year.
Thanks for looking.

That's a sweet knob. Good luck with your breeding this year.

Before I become a donkey, is that the correct picture for your post? If it is, I don't think that's a pyro knoblochi, but a zonata agalma- Baja Mtn King. If it's just the wrong pic, no big deal.
My knob looks a little like a zonata from above, because you cant see the lateral pattern. But I have to agree with you, that looks like an Agalma. A knob would normally have a white nose. Greg
Here’s another photo Both photos are old, and when they finish worming up all take new photos of him and his ladies.
Thanks .

OK, my bad, it IS a knob! Couldn't see that white nose, or lateral pattern in the first shot. I have a beautiful male knob of unknown age. I'll have to post a photo of him soon. Greg
Hi Jim, now this pic is a knoblochi! I'll bet my hat (which I don't have..LOL) that the first pic is an algama. Look forward to new pics, maybe they will show something different. They are both very nice snakes, I just don't think they're the same.

Sorry Jim, I just figured it out! The white of the nose tip is perfectly aligned with the white band in one of the triads. That's what was throwing me off so much. Too funny, I guess I'm the donkey afterall.....

After I look back at the first photo I can see how the mistake can be made.
I wasn’t quite sure what you’re talking about at first. I don’t even have an agalma. I have a L. z. multicincta, but she looks nothing like any Knob I have ever seen.
