What the heck is this??

VAReptileRescue Mar 07, 2004 09:06 PM

OK, folks, no one seems to be able to figure this one out... so I'm posting here. This is one of the PRETTIEST snakes I've seen, but I can't find a picture of anything like it. Anyone have an idea??

Yes, the picture is slightly out of focus, and the snake was wet (just rinsed her off). What is she???

Looks to be a Bolivian Amarilli, although not tha tail... possible a Brazilian Redtail crossed with amrailli... or even a bolivian amarilli crossed with a colombian...

deffinately a nice adult.. and deffinately has that amarilli influence with the saddles and the square, stout body..

I agree with Joe, definitely has amarali influence.....but has too many tail bands to be a true amarali, bolivian or brazillian. Probably a cross like Joe said.

Could be Guyanan. I've seen a few with thin saddles. In any case, for what it's worth, just represent it as a generic redtail. Without any history, it's impossible to label. Nice boa.
