i have a 6 month old beardie and i was wondering, if i cut crickets all together and only feed him veggies, is he going to get deathly ill? or will he get used to it and be fine?, any advice on this topic would be greatly appreciated

No you can't stop feeding protien yet. At 6 months there is still a lot of growing they are going to have to do so they need protien. As far as I know they will tell you when they aren't interested in crickets anymore which will be after they are adults. Have you tried Rep-cal pellets? They have protien in them so if your dragon likes them then you cut out crickets. I don't give my beardies any crickets and they are on greens and rep-cal pellets. I also feed them silk worms for added protien dusted with T-rex.

yes, you could cut out crickets at this point. Your dragon will not become ill, you just need tomake sure it is eating. You do need to(as mentioned in the other post) supply protien. So it is not as easy as just feeding salads. What works for me and what I would suggest is picking up a bottle of t-rex bearded dragons veggie growth forumula. It is a complete food supplement that you dust on the veggies, and has much more protien(by dry mass) than a cricket. You should also add in the rep-cal pellets. I also offer either superworms or mealworms a few times a week.
good luck
