comming out of Namibia,is one of the most unique cobras Ive ever worked with,I keep about 11 species but this is by far the most striking(literaly).
does anyone have any info about this creature?
I luckly enough got a female.... would love to pair it up,anyone ever heard of it being imported?
Anyone have a male?
I figure this one probably came thru M. Spellbrink, as the person I got it from, got it from the now defunkt,"cobra connection"aka K&B reptiles(its picture is on the photo page)
thanks for any help, even a scientific name would be great.
if youve never seen it, go to the kingsnke photo area under venomous then under Elapids.

Following the existing taxonomy, this snake is still Naja nigricollis nigricincta, although the taxonomy should change soon and elevate this snake to a full species, Naja nigricincta
