Hi there,

When my Spiny Lizards bred for the first time,
the young lizards ate very small insects. They enjoyed small crickets, small caterpillars, aphids, termites and they would even eat an occasional mealworm (obviously, a small one). If you are able to find small bugs like those, you should be fine as far as feeding goes. They always seem to appreciate a variety, so as spring approaches, you should be able to find a whole lot of those small arthropods soon. If they have the right conditions, your little guy will soon grow to a respectable cricket eating size. My magisters grew big enough in under 4 months. Hope this helps.

yours,
Phil Clevinger
