Hi All,
I have 4 eggs in the incubator now, 2 for 5 weeks and 2 that were just added this week. I noticed on the older ones that they have turned an almost orange/brown tint. It's noticably not white (the new ones are a white chalky). I'm using the deli-cut with weighed water to vermiculite 0.8 parts water to 1 part water by weight). I'm afraid to pick up the eggs because they seema little soft, but they are still large with no dents so I think they are good. I'm new to breeding, I've had leos for a couple years but this is my first with eggs. If there is a way to check the eggs without picking them up with my hands that would be greatly appreciated. Also, any info on why they would be a brownish tint woudl be great. If you need pics I can take some tomorrow and post them tomorrow night (Monday) Thanks a lot.
