Yes, we do. I travel for work fairly often. But, this also means I can't have a big collection in the first place. I recruit and train some workaholic neighbor or eager kid to care for the critters. I cultivate curiosity and interest in several neighborhood friends, bring them treats, offer to care for anything they have in return (and if they are interested in chams they probably have their own zoo), and write up a very detailed care sheet (people have remarked on how long it is!) with my travel contact numbers, vet numbers, etc. I put out my better cham books too. I have all supplies out on the kitchen counter, all insects fed, cage clean, everything I can do to make the job easy. It usually takes me an entire day to get ready for a trip. Someone who would sell his animals just because he's going away for 2 weeks is not a very dedicated keeper IMHO.
