just get some fruit out of the fridge and feed it to them

Sorry, i've already tried that, and nothing happened at all, lol. So no they won't ,and also they prefer crickets, mealworms, wax worms etc... over the leopard gecko food you buy at the store, so I think I hepled. Thank you.
