New CRESTED GECKO ! HELP HELP

I am a new Crested Gecko Owner, Every pet shop person and every internet sight I read has something different to tell me:

Question is:

I have a heat light on the top of my 20 gallon aquarium. What should the wattage be? and should it be on all the time?

If your room stays between 70 and 80 degrees, you don't need a lamp at all. These guys do fantastic at room temp. If your room is 65 degrees or something I'd use a 20 watt.
