Question lost in the mix...Please take a look and let me know..

Our female leo ate about 10 mealworms a day from Oct when we got her to the end of December. Since then she has probably eaten maybe 10 mealworms total for Jan-now. She does continue to lick the calcium and when she does eat her poop is normal. Is this a normal hibernation? She is still her normal night active self and has not lost hardly any size. Will she start eating now that it is spring? I have not changed her temps at all, but just assume she knows as my snakes do. Do the rest of you go through this in the winter months? I am in FL, so winter isn't really winter but animals seem to know the time of year. She just ignores the mealworms and before Jan, she was all over them. Sucks because I finally have the mealworm operation going and nobody to feed...my fish must love it.

I have actually been noticing the same thing with my leo Jak. For about the last 2 weeks, she's maybe eaten 10 mealies total, but like you, when she does poop, it is normal, and she is her normal night active self as well. I as well have not changed my temps. I'm going to have to assume that they do "know" when it's winter and go into some for of hibernation. If anybody can shed some light on this I know I'd appreciate it, and I assume Mayo will too =) Thanks for your help
