preparations for breeding diamond x jungles

blahismmaninsd Mar 08, 2004 12:38 PM

Its been many years, but finally I've noticed my snakes are getting it on. Should I prepare a box of wet vermiculite in their enclosure? Any suggestions to help them breed or to make the process more successfull would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Josiah

Vermiculite gets EVERYWHERE. I suggest shredded newspaper or dry-ish sphagnum moss. She'll shed a full 24-30 days BEFORE she lays any eggs, so its not like there isn't any warning.
