im getting a baby soon so im curious what the best method for keeping temp's for nights.i live in the nw so some nights may be colder. anyone use heat branches ? or just heating pads ? or will it not be needed? thnaks in advance.

I use radiant heat panels exclusively, and I love them.
There is a small one (6 x 12"
that is just right for a 10-gallon tank. You attach it to the underside of the screen, radiating downward.
Call Bob at Pro Products and tell him what kind of enclosure you're using. He'll make sure you get the right panel.
Radiant heat panels can't be beat. No light, just uniform heat. And unlike heat mats or Flex-Watt, radiant heat panels warm the air in the cage as well as provide great basking heat.
