controlling heat

Puff is temporarily in a 30 gallon until he gets his total clean bill of health. It has started to get quite hot here, and even with air and a fan, the temperature in my house is a bit high. Especially in Puff's tank. How do I bring down the temperature? In the cool side of the tank, it is as hot sometimes as 90 degrees. I am running a 100 watt uva/uvb bulb in his basking spot (which gets over 100-110) as well as his fluourescent light that runs the length of the tank. Can I use a lower wattage bulb? He spends a minumum of 20 minutes outside a day. So I guess what I am wondering is what I can do to lower the ambient temperature in the tank. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Use a lower wattage bulb. As long as he's getting some sun on a regular basis you don't even need to run uv in his tank.

Thanks. I figured that would be okay. I was just checking. We are going to try a 75 watt and see how that works. Thanks for the advice!
