03svtcobra Mar 08, 2004 06:50 PM

my female brb is about 2 feet long. she hasnt ate in about 3-4 weeks. she has been soaking for the past 3-4 days as well. is it normale for her not to eat for this long at such a young age.

she doesnt look like she is loosing weight. also when i hold her and she wraps around my fingers, she is still very strong.

the temp and humidity have been the same since i got her and i never had a problem.

can anyone help me out?

Way more info. And possibly pics.

I know people that smoked for 20 years and "never had any problems", that is, until the day they got lung cancer. Just because you didn't perceive any problems previously, doesn't mean the setup is correct, and doesn't mean that future problems won't occur.

Temps, gradient, humidity, substrate, photoperiod, how often the snake is "bothered", etc etc are all necessary to make ANY sort of suggestion.

Rainbows are NOCTURNAL snakes. As nocturnal as the come. In my 11 years of keeping and breeding them, I haven't had ONE snake active during the day.
