can albinos just randomly pop up out of eggs from a normal couple? or is there a special way to get them? can some plz tell me cuz i want one so bad!

There are three known ways of getting an albino ball-

A. Buy one.

B. Buy two 'hets' and breed them. (hets look like normals but if you didn't buy your normals as hets the chances are overwhelming that they cannot produce albinos)

C. Go to Africa and find one. (That's where the originals came from)

How about “buy a het male, keep his daughters, and breed them to a possible het male”? Almost worked for me, the two albinos where kinked in the egg, maybe this year.

There are lots of ways to get an albino but the gist of it is that both of its parents must carry at least one copy of the recessive gene.

I've even heard of at least two cases of "normal" females being unexpected hets. Can't count on that kind of luck but just proof that anything is possible.

Prices will continue to drop. However, don't expect to be able to get one for less than $1000 for the next 5 years or so. I say, start saving now and get pick of the litter next year! The best prices can be found from small scale breeders who are generally unknown. I recommend that you start looking now for some of these breeders who happen to be fairly close to you.
