I wouldn't try to manually evert a crested gecko. You may stress the gecko out and it would probably drop it's tail. Soon enough your juvenile will have a buldge if it's a boy. It would be nice if there was some way that was accurate enough to sex Cresteds before sub-adult size.

I have heard that the calcium reserves in Females mouths are bigger than males due to the fact that they need the extra calcium for the eggshells. Is this true? And will they have different size reserves even when young? Could that be a way to sex them?
