I don't get it. How can this be comfortable?

She's actually slept like this a couple of times, so it's not like I just caught her passing by.

Maybe it's the only way she can create enough room for that belly. The funny thing was, she turned her head just as I shot it (sorry for the reflections) like she was embarassed. Goofy dragon.

One of my dragons does something like that. She'll bask for a while, then jump down to the next level, but her feet and tail are still up on the basking rock. (A friend that was sleeping over called me at work to ask why she was basking her tail).
