Silkworms

lostkauze Mar 09, 2004 05:38 AM

I've abandoned my hopes of getting all my feeders from the same place. Where can I get silk worms in small quantities online?

Thanks

Michael

I just switched over to silkworms and my geckos love em. I order from californiasilkworms.com (really good to deal with, fast shipping). And I'm thinking about trying the feeding kit subscription type deal on silwormfarm.com. You can order smaller quantities on californiasilkworms.com.

I would go with http://silkwormfarm.com/

Joe is much more responsive and ships them in a better container. I wasn't to impressed with my order from
californiasilkworms - my worms came in no container at all, just a bunch of newspaper shoved in the shipping box - what a pain to try and get 500 silworms off every fold and wrinkle- I emailed them about it but got no answer. The silkworms were fine and alive(although it didn't look much like 500 - maybe more like 300). CaliforniaSilkworms does include dry chow for the same price as Silkwormfarm charges without chow.

So I should spend an extra few bucks and go with silwormfarm.com ... for shipping and customer service reasons... right?

THanks
