Next Question About Male Breeders!

NickRB Mar 09, 2004 05:39 AM

This time I am wondering about sperm plugs. Yet another topic that comes up alot. I have heard that sperm plugs are left behind in a shed. What would I be looking for in the shed? Is there anyother way to tell if a male has sperm plugs besides popping? Thanks for all your help!

Sperm plugs are usually cleared at the beginning of the breeding season, often being found on the floor of the cage. Often they are cleared when the male sheds, and in this case they are often attached to the shed at the cloaca. I posted a pict of plugs a few weeks ago, go check it out (late feb).
