Greetings,
This is my first post after reading this Forum on and off again for a few years. My first and favorite snake A Female Okatee Corn Snake passed away last year after having her for about 10 years (I don't know if this is an average age for a corn to live in a well kept cage or not) but i took her out all the time and she was a doll. She lived in a 30gallon cage with a 20g l UTH and a 75w heat light, two of thoes cheap but nice Min/Max temp gauge's(on the hot side, and the "room temp 1 side". Okay anyway it was a greatsetup and to make a story short, I now have two 03' babies one Ghost and one "Red Albino" they are beautiful and friendly and great snakes... and I can thank some of the links on this place to helping me see all the new phases to get...

Okay now for the one minor Q. My breeders Ghosts all had two little bumps on their spines one about a quarter down, the other near the end. He said they were just calcium deposits some of his over in-bred snakes get, i felt and their were no broken ribs.. and the ghost had/has full mobility, eats, everything is normal, so i got him and have no problems.. just wondering if any of you have heard or seen this in some of your more inner bred phases etc.

Thanks,
Badcow

Im sorry for the loss of your ten year old.I also believe snakes get inbred to death.Im not sure that whats causing your lumps. If there moving fine and eating i would just keep an eye on them and if they get worse i would seek another vet...Paul.
