Does anyone do this? If so--what do you use and how do you do it? What is the importance of it?
I don't do it--but am thinking about starting...
Thanks!

I've done it, but generally just with juvenile rodents, particularly pinkies. Nothing fancy, just wet the rump and dip it in calcium powder.
Since the bones of the baby rodents aren't fully calcified, I figured the snakes would benefit from a bit of extra calcium.
Like wingedwolf said I would only try it with pinkies. Adult mice already have enough calcium via bones. You wouldn't want to overdose your snake. Lizards need a lot more calcium than snakes anyway, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.
