Vermiculate vs. Perlite???

rujonesin Mar 09, 2004 03:07 PM

I notice most people use vermiculate to incunbate their eggs. Are their any obvious problems with perlite that I'm not aware of? I went to buy vermiculate and the store was out. I already had a bag of perlite so I used it. I know it's cool with snake eggs I just wanted to make sure there were no problems with dragon eggs.

Thanks,
Mike

I use both but mostly perlite. You want to moisten it until the granules just start to clump.
good luck
