Snakes usually 'clear' for a couple days after you see the cloudy eyes but before they shed--I've been told that the cloudiness is some sort of fluid produced to help stretch and lubricate the old skin and is then absorbed into the body, hence the apparent clearing of the eyes--anyone know whether this is actuallly true? Either way, all the snakes I've known would clear before shedding, some for only a day or 2, my little hog for 5 (yeah I was reeeally waiting for her to shed by the end there). So, keep an eye out, he should shed sooon.
