ball in shed.....

pray4peace Mar 09, 2004 04:10 PM

My ball python just ate even though it is in shed!
How long do I have to wait before I can handle her? Should I wait until she is done shedding?

I'd wait until it is done shedding. When my herps shed i don't like to handle them as they are usually a bit more frigtened of stuff.

Wait at least 48 hours after feeding and don't handle during shed (wait until done). Shedding can be uncomfortable and stressful for them - I think they feel vulnerable and tend to get irritable.
