some of you may know about the cornsnake i purchased from kerby at lonesome valley reptiles last year at the tucson reptile show in August (i think). well i loved this great little cornsnake to death. she was great! i bought her as a classroom pet. well someone opened on of the hatch type things on his cage one day and he was gone. keep in mind this is last year about september. i go to school today and sit through first period as always. i got out of class and some kid says hey matt, mike found your snake! so i ran up to the classroom and it was true! the lil baby girl normal cornsnake was there!!! i was so relieved! they found him outside curled up on a WALL! just sitting there!!! (its a stucco wall with lil grooves). ha lasted that whole winter and end of summer outside! a lil baby cornsnake no food or anything. i think he might of ate some crickets and snuggled in a nice cozy premade den for the winter. i was amazed!!! we gave up looking for him so my teacher took his cage home. today she had to stay with a big ball python in her enclosure but tomorrow i am bringing her home with me to get her fed up and back on weight and maybe a vets office if i see any problems. i checked her out today no mites or heavy breathing looked like she must have had nice sheds because there were no spots of dry scales stuck on her anywher, no mucus or anything. pretty good condition for a snake thought to be dead!!!
