shipping boxes that are approved by the IATA Live animal regulations

chrystallynn Mar 09, 2004 06:04 PM

I am trying to ship a bunch a lizards to Belgium. I have my USFW permit, USDA Health certificates and I just got a known shipper account. Now for the packaging. I purchased a IATA (International Air Transport Association Book on Live animal regulations. There are all kinds of specifics about the boxes, ventilation, dividers, a wooden fram. Is there a company out there were I can purchase a box to fit the regulations.

Thanks
Chrystal

Hi!

Just wondered how you got around your own question regarding IATA box? I have that fun part ahead of me, and would be interested to hear from you with the details.
I had a local carpenter make me a prototype box, but I am keen to compare before shipping for first time.
Would you possibly email me a step-by-step info sheet of how you did it, please? (Include insulation technique & materials used).

Many thanks...
