I work in a food warehouse and today we had a little tiny lizard about the size of a quarter hitch a ride with a load of grapefruit from Florida. Just to give you an idea of the trip the warehouse is near Toronto, Canada. It was alive when it arrived and seems in good health. I have no idea of what kind it is though so I'm not sure if it is getting fed properly.
Like I said it is pretty small. Its brown with little black spots. It almost looks like a gecko but its feet look almost like a chamealion(sp) except it has 4 toes. I wish I had a picture. If anyone knows a good site with pictures for lizards that would be great. I've got some newly hatched silkworms so I'm gonna bring a few in tomorrow to see if it eats them.
