eye not opening

i've noticed that my 15-month-old female basilisk hasn't been opening her left eye. any suggestions as to why? i'd appreciate anything.

She could have a bit of substrate caught in her eye, if you flush it with water you may be able to wash it out. She also may have scratched or injured the eye, which would cause an infection. If this is the problem she needs to see a vet.
