please don't catch wild spinys. I have one that someone caught in FL and bought north. they turned her over to rescue and I adopted her. she is not a happy spiny in spite of everything. leave the wild spinys in the wild, Please.

Spinys are just children with scales and long tails.

Hi,

Please don't stress the animals by doing this. Observe them in the wild, but please leave them alone. Stressing and terrorizing (yes, you will be terrorizing it by doing this) is not fun.

If you want to see some in the Miami area you can go to the Amelia Earhart Park 401 East 65th Street Miami, Florida 33177.
They live on the boulders at the entrance to the park.

Although they are non-native species, they are protected in the park. They are also dangerous, if you do not know what you are doing. An adult or sub-adult can do serious damage.

I have given you this location, because as an experienced Spinny-tail collector I am 99% sure that even if you tried you will not be able to catch them.

E-mail me if you have any questions,

Manny
