My last one didnt work. This is a 55 Long. I am hoping that he will be alright in here for a year or so, till I can build a pond. He grew a bit fast in the beginning, but I am feeding correctly and hope his growth is nice and slow.

Wow!! That's lovely. I can't wait until I can get a big tank like that. My turtle would be in heaven.

Well done!!!

It's time for me to look for a bigger home for my guy, and I was wondering how much that cost ? Is it easy to keep clean when it's that large ?
thanks

It cost me about 325.00 for the whole thing. That is the tank, stand, filter and heater. It is way easier to keep this one clean then my 20 gallon that I had. I use the python to clean it and I only empty about 2/3 of the water and then add back clean water. I use a chlorine remover and stress zyme, but only when I am adding water to it no other time. I have a pelco, some ghost shrimp and some plants, to help keep the tank clean. Oregano leaves Pepper (pelco) alone, but he loves to eat the ghost shrimp. I also have some guppies in there too, mainly to pickup what is on the bottom of the tank (food) plus they are good exercise for Oregano. Paprika is the big orange male guppie that Oregano leaves alone. Hope this helped. Good luck and God Bless.
