When were the current strict NJ laws put into motion ?

Just curious how long there current regs have been on the books ?

I believe early 70's.... Which entails the protection on all regulated and non-regulated species and endangered (indigeous/exotic). NJ laws are strict I've heard from fellow herpers max. fines of up to $5,000.00 per offense.Hope this helps. I have to say I checked out your site and it is simply amazing. I myself I'm a L. getula nut. Who shares the same woods with the mighty NJ eastern king down in the swampy pines of NJ. Truely an incredible species.
