I have a cage all set up and ready now all I need is to find a baby Nerodia. I live in Nash county North Carolinia, can any one tell me a good time to start looking for them. Also any tips on finding them. do you know any Nash co "hot spots"..............I know look in the water,.......well DUh I need so new herping spots.

Snakes are out even in 40 degree weather sometimes lower. There are not as many but there are some because I have seen them. Mainly during the middle of the day basking on logs and such. Beging looking whenever you like. i don't know the emp up there so maybe you might want to wait.

pretty much any body of water will work. I find Nerodia even in the middle of Houston where houses, buildings, and freeways cross or back up to the creeks and bayous.
