Some will say males get larger than female, but I've got males and females of equally LARGE size. The feeding question is rather moot. Both will eat just about anything they are given, but we tend to feed females more due to egg production.

With brooksi my males have always been larger than my females.

I figured as much. I have some exceptionally large brooksi. The largest I've seen was a male that was easily 7' longs and thick as a baseball. I've got large males and females, and 2 females that are the larges of my collection. Big Whitie at 5' and this 2X het female that is pretty close to 6'. My largest male is also a 2X het close to the size of his mate. I'd love to see 6' animals become more common. I'll post a pic of one of the yearlings from this female soon. It's one of the best looking brooksi I've seen.
