He won't eat!

rossa Mar 10, 2004 10:53 AM

Hey,
So now my baby musk is refusing to eat. I've had him about a week now, and the only thing he touched was a little piece of ham I put in his tank. I've tried quite a few different commecial pellets, but he just seems oblivious. All he does is sit underneath a rock. I know that it's normally usual for a turtle to have a "breaking in" period", but shouldn't he be eating by now? Thanks I need some help please.

Try feeding him live food: mosquito larvae, small earth worms...that'll work for sure. Also, give him plenty hiding places and not too bright lighting to make sure he's comfortable.
