?????BOSC MONITOR STRANGE FAECES?????

I HAVE A BOSC MONITOR WHICH IS 3'8" LONG AND SEEMS IN PERFECT HEALTH THIS MORNIG HOWEVER I CHECKED HIM AND HIS EYES SEEMED SWOLLEN AND HE WAS RELUCTANT TO OPEN THE AFTER ABOUT 20 MINS HOWEVER HE OPENED THEM FINE ALSO HIS CRAP HAD A LARGE PURPLE STREAK IN IT HAVE NO IDEA WHERE IT HAS COME FROM AS HE HAS NO ACCESS TO ANYTHING PURPLE IT DEFINATELY AIN'T BLOOD BUT HAVE BOOKED AN APPOINTMENT AT THE VETS ANYWAY TO CHECK WHATS HAPPENING.
ANYONE ELSE HAD ANYTHING LIKE THIS HAPPEN

It could be a tapeworm infection. Or some other kind of internal parasite. I've seen something like it a few times. The poo was soft and clay-like, and gray instead of brown. Two times I've also seen a piece of a worm in the poo, which was actually alive! I treated it with Praziquantel, with succes. But it's a good idea to visit a vet, to be sure what it is.
