Hello I am new to this form and would like to say hey. I am 16 and handle hots.......................
Today I got out my snake handling tools and inspected all of them, I have a small snake removal serves here in eastern North Carolina. I am only 16 but I think I am very responsible with handling hots. When I remove a snake I ask the people living at the house to please watch from inside, as I don’t want any OOOOOOOOOOO AHHHHHHHHHHh to distract me.
When I field herp and find a hot I may move it to get a better pic, but my friends stay quite. In my two short years of handling hot so far I have never touched one with my skin and don’t plan to. I consider free-handing an unnecessary risk like driving with out a seat belt!
