I read in a post below about ring necks eating lots of stuff besides worms and fish, such as pinkys, any way I was wondering if anyone has gotten Northern ringnecks to eat pinks and how to do it. thanks

Yeah, I had an adult Northern back in August that was 24 inches that I kept on a diet of pinkies. I had a small racer and I fed it a pinkie a week and that week it was going opague and it didn't want food so I figured why not try and feed it to my ringneck it's big enough. I put the pinkie in the tank and the next morning it was gone, and the snake had a lump in it, you can kinda guess what happened. So the next week I tried to feed it another one, I "scented" it by rubbing worms and small snakes on it, that may sound crazy, but it worked. If you have a captive ringneck that accepts food from you and is large enough to eat a pinkie, I'd say try and feed it the pinkie without scenting and if that doesn't work try scenting. Good luck.

P.S.- I only included pinkies on that list because I had success as using them as ringneck food. I don't know how many or if there are any others that had one eat pinkies.
