This female was bred to my snow male in March and still hasnt laid any eggs. She had what I thought was her prelay shed on May 3rd. She has never quit eating and has had another shed about a week ago. Is this the prelay shed I was hoping for?

Yes, that female is most definitely going to be laying soon.

We all know the "rules"... they shed once out of brumation, they breed, they shed a second time and then they lay. Too bad female corns can't read rule books.
This year I had a female that shed three times out of brumation before she layed and I also had a female that only shed once. She never had an "out of brumation shed" only a prelay shed, so I am very glad I didn't wait until the first shed to breed her.
In your case, that last shed was probably a pre-ovulation shed and not a prelay. I'd try breeding her again just in case and wait to see what happens. Continue feeding her as long as she will eat.
