I have a 3 year old female rescue who is perfect except one pinkie toe on the front left foot. It appears that a shed didn't complete on that toe and it is already black. Should she get surgery to remove it, or just leave it?

Usually it doesn’t require surgery. The toe will most likely fall off. Just keep the toe clean and keep her at papertowels so the wound won’t get infected. IF you see a sign of infection – contact a veterinarian, just to be safe.
