Rescue with Black Toe-Surgery?

I have a 3 year old female rescue who is perfect except one pinkie toe on the front left foot. It appears that a shed didn't complete on that toe and it is already black. Should she get surgery to remove it, or just leave it?

Usually it doesn�t require surgery. The toe will most likely fall off. Just keep the toe clean and keep her at papertowels so the wound won�t get infected. IF you see a sign of infection � contact a veterinarian, just to be safe.
